Your Pictures Post pictures of your Akitas here. You can upload images to the Forum by clicking the paperclip next to the "Insert an Image File" link at the bottom of the New Topic window. We accept images in JPEG and GIF format. Make sure your images are moderately sized (aim for them being less than 100Kb), so that users on slower connections don't get frustrated trying to view them. The system also doesn't seem to behave well if your image filename contains a space, just as a forewarning! Dogs In Need

Notes:	She is not used to children or cats. Will get on with male dogs, not bitches. She is fighting with her sister and mum, but is ok with dad. Treble will pull on lead. She wear a harness. Needs to be separated from other dogs when fed. She loves human company and could live on her own or with a male depending on successfully introduction. Treble will be nervous around strangers and may take a little time to settle.

Notes:	Dingo is in foster care with ARW through no fault of his own. Dingo is a lovely, lively lad, fine with me walking him, in as a complete stranger, inquisitive and came straight over for a fuss. Happy to 'sit', 'down'. Seems very trainable, eager to please. When he is out being walked he pulls a lot, the canny hopefully will help Dingo does live with a Westie at this time, and gets on well with him, though can be quiet playfull with him. He has not been used to children or cats.

Notes:	Kia is a lovely looking dog and is good natured and good with children. She is settled and happy in the home and garden and is well behaved. She is learning to walk to heel and to come on being called and is improving daily. She sits and waits on command. She is undergoing training on a long lead - as she will chase after rabbits - and is reasonably easy to manage on walks using a combination of short and long leads. She is very strong if she chooses to pull but firm handling and anticipating problem situations can more or less prevent this problem. She has the classic traits of her breed!

Notes:	Rocky is a stunning boy who is looking for a new home as his owner is moving abroad and can not take him. If Rocky does not find a home by the time the owner moves, he will be put to sleep. Rocky can not live with other dogs, is not used to children but can live with cats. Rocky is a large Akita. He is very people friendly and walks well on a lead. He would make a lovely companion but would be best as the only pet.
