you need to raise the dogs water bowl off the floor if its not a big dogs have to bend there heads very low and this causes gulping and affects the air flow to his lungs might be a thought

Hi All, yes Zaks water and food are raised off the floor on a stand,I am pretty sure that he fainted due to him gulping down the water,he seems a bit low of late but thats to be expected due to his age and the implant he has had for the enlarged prostate problem,he is eating fine and otherwise seems ok just that he prefers shorter walks nowdays,thanks for all the good wishes Bill&Zak.

Oh dear! I'm glad Zac's okay now, did you take him for a check up at the vets just in case it`s a sign of some kind of problem? it might be worth checking it out `cos it could be something that could be sorted by catching it early
