Hi Im so sorry to hear that she had a twisted bowel Im proud of her that she pulled through the op, my bitch American Akita Nushka didn't make it when she had her twisted bowel she was 8 years and we lost her in february this year, she made it through the op but she was in way too much pain and the vet said we can do more ops on her or we can get her 'PTS' to put her out of pain, we couldnt bare to see her in pain and we wanted to have more ops on her but then the vet said we should PHTS :'(

I hope she is ok and I hope that she is doing much better today, she is a strong girl indeed, and she deserves a good chance. We will never forgive ourselves for not trying harder, but the vet says its not our fault,they said they done all they could.

My westie keeps me going although I lost my Japanese Akita Inka this year also, he was 12 and it was simply old age for him.
