Hi Teresa

JD has autoimmune He's had it since he was 2 and I have been through the mill with the poor little mite. Hes Blind as a result of this and 2 years ago he got Gastric Toursion. I didn't think he would pull through this but he's such a fighter he did. My lovely friends on the forum are always here to help and give me strength to help him through his crisis He's on a lot of medication and it helps him cope but this last flare up keep recurring and Its getting me worried as he's getting on now he's 9 and that's against all odds. I was told to have him PST when he was 2 but I couldn't till I have gone dow every road possible

Thanks for caring love and hugs Dawn xxxx

Awwww poor JD, my Kita had pemphigus foliaceous which is an autoimmune disease also. I thought the sores JD has looked familiar.
You have done very well in looking after him and keeping him comfortable over the years.
I know how hard it is to deal with these autoimmune diseases and how distressing it is to live with, Kita never had any time in remission with hers. Every 2 or 3 days a new sore would appear, usually on her legs and thighs. They never seemed to heal.
We lost her 3 years ago ages 8, not to the disease but to the steroids she was on.
You are doing a wonderful job with JD and the bond you must have can only be envied. Stay strong and keep smiling together xxx

Here anytime if you want to chat about him
