TOPIC: Asia's got to have the op now

Asia's got to have the op now 05 Feb 2013 15:34 #8107

My Asia is now booked in for her cruciate ligament op on Tuesday next week.

She was doing so well and walking on all fours, but she decided it would be fun to rush me with her teddy bear, I couldn't stop her and I think she managed to put the ligament back to where it was and is now walking on 3 legs again so we decided she's got to have the op to fix it, the resting isn't really doing it any good, it's just doing her poor little furry nut in I'm really worried about it all, I just want it done and over with and to see her back to normal.

AAHHH, poor Asia, i think we do worry much more than the dogs when they are poorly. Fingers crossed all goes well and she will be back on all four paws for the summer.

I know how worried you must be, we are all the same , as Denise says , harder for us than them!
Asia is going to thank you later for this, she doesn't sound like the sort of girl to want to slow down, just because one leg is letting her down! She will soon be back to full pelt, dancing and dashing around.

Awww bless

Hope she will recover fine.

JD will send all his love and a little of his strength to get back on her Legs sooner rather than later.

Thinking about you love and hugs Dawn and sloppy kisses from JD xxxxxxx

I really recommend the rehab program from Top Dog. Its what we used for Inja and he is doing better than the vet expected. Rest is crucial in the early days though.

Poor Asia. Lots of love and hugs to both of you. Having been through a comparatively minor op with Thorn last week, I really understand your pain. Take care and take strength from the outcome of good mobility for Asia.
