Poor baby there is nothing worse than them not being comfortable and us not being able to help them.

Our little staffie suffers from allergies, we raw fed him to try and rule out grains and additives etc but still the itching carried on. Our vet is a skin specialist and his first advice was not to change foods until the current allergy flare up was resolved as we wouldnt know if the change of food helped or whether it was just the medication. It can take up to 12 weeks for the full effects ofa new diet to be seen apparently. Anyway, as soon as that flare up was under control and the symptons subsided we then tackled the food. Rather than work our way through the meats and keep waiting 12 weeks he suggested to put him straight onto a fish based diet as that was something we could say he hadnt really been eating. Touch wood, he is absolutely fine now

I would definitely have skin scrapes done incase it isnt allergy related. Is it just on the tummy area and no where else on the body?
If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either !
