Thanks Pam,

I know, this cute phase won't last long lol. I will post some pics by this weekend, have put some on the other thread for pictures which Stephanie was kind enough to upload but think I'll add some here once I've mastered how to make them smaller.

Speak soon,

mel

I'm quite looking forward to the puppy parties although there's been one in Feb so not sure when the next one will be, hopefully before she's too big to be let in She's quite bouncy when she first sees us and is excited, we took her for a walk outside today (only been in garden so far) and she was surprisingly good, just tried to mooch everywhere. Didn't seem too interested in a man walking a little dog over the road, (sure that will change)

It's harder when they're adults isn't it, they tend to perhaps be more solitary so as you said its harder to keep them socialized. Koko is really good so far and she'll be meeting a few more family members tomorrow so hopefully will set her on the right road.

Hi Mel...great that Koko is doing so well ...yes Akitas do change as they get older, that's why it's so important you keep socialising her as much as you can ....our little darling Bears seem to do their "own thing", when they get older...no matter how much training they have ...they are a dominant, intellegant breed ...but they are so worth it, with the love & loyalty they give you back ....keep up the training & enjoy your puppy ......Pam Maya & Scoobie
