Beautiful dog and well done you. I had one with a similar problem years ago - long before vets even considered chemo or anything else and we were advised to let her go. Just well done!

mochi looks very happy on three legs It's the same leg as my Benny, I know what you mean by Akita's not showing pain, my old Benny never showed pain with this leg cancer, he just carried on the best he could, we would have gone for amputation if he'd been younger, but he was heading for 12 and the op would have been too much for him.

Great pics of sweet pups

Hi and welcome back

Absolutely stunning dogs!

Mochi looks to be doing great on 3 legs, that great big smile says it all really doesnt it

My 8 year old rescue staffie had cancer and we opted for the chemo route. Never again would I put a dog through it, it was awful and it made him so ill that he was suffering far worse than he would have been if we had not started it
If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either !

Hello Jadematic

Yes! I remember you!! I was on the Windsor walk! The Queen slowed down to see our dogs, remember? Sorry to hear about Mochi's leg. She is looking good and well done for believing in her strength.
