This was Xena when she came in

This was Xena yesterday. She is still on antibiotics but is feeling much better. Xena is in kennels and is looking for her forever home. A foster home with older calm children and a large male dog with no cats is required.

How lovely to see her looking so good now. Hope she won't be waiting too long for a home, she deserves one after all she's been through. It was a lucky day for her when Akita rescue stepped in to help her.

Wow! what an amazing improvment in her appearance! it shows just how unwell she was when she was found poor Zena. Do you think she was used for breeding? I only ask because she looks a bit nipply and loose on her under carriage

Her belly is shaved so she looks more nipply than normal
She has definitely had a litter or two. Thankfully she is now spayed.
I think she is looking forward to her hair growing back to keep her belly warm. It is cold in those kennels of a night.
She is still on antibiotics and her wound is only a few weeks old so she should get better in the next few weeks.
