Well I see a few people are wondering what has happened to Nina. Well here she at 19 weeks old with me in the back garden then out by the River Wye.

As to why hyena it was a question asked by a friend "are you sure you haven't got a hyena there?" and its kind of stuck as an in joke.

I'll post more on Nina when I have time.

Hi and welcome,
Well, it is lovely to see another of the ' tiger' pups happily settled. She is obviously going to have a lovely life with you, all the lovely walks in the hills , and even streams to paddle in! Lucky you , having an Akita who seems to like water.
A hyena eh, that's a first, it's usually ' that's a lovely husky you have there ' or malamute, or even chow!

We also have just adopted a puppy, Obi, now 14 weeks old, we also have his brother Inca on foster, another brindle , but darker than Nina. Our older Akita Kiri keeps them both in order!
Don't they grow so quickly though? It's hard to realise they are still so young sometimes.

Aww. look at Nina! She's looking gorgeous and so happy So glad to see she's found such a lovely home and owner. Will have a look on the flickr page, will be great to see Nina growing up and compare her to Koko. Lovely pics in the water x

Your Hyena is a beautiful little girl indeed her patterns are just brill!!!!

She looks so cute in the water, Im glad she went to a good home, I think we were all wondering how the others were doing!!!
