Thanks for all the lovely comments, we are so enjoying having two dogs. It's so funny when Obi waits for Kiri to leave a morsel, he's so patient. She chews every single bit so it takes ages , and no, she never leaves him any but he gets a bit of carrot for his sins.
We took them both to the vets for a kennel cough injection yesterday, not because we intend putting them in kennels, just that they mix with lots of dogs.
Not our usual vets, he wanted to charge £33 each! Pets at home £15 each. It was an eye opener, I was amazed at his knowledge of Akitas and he gave them both the most thorough health check , completely loved both of them. Couldn't really avoid kisses from Obi, he was all over him! He treated them both on the floor, stroking them all over and playing with Obi. I was really impressed and he even offered a prescription for tick prevention because he knew it would be cheaper to buy it online.
Oh and for the first time ever Obi didn't wee in the store!
