Hi, the pictures are beautiful and I remember him when he was very thin with no home" Its so rewarding to see him in such a good and loving home! He is look prettier than ever and looks so full of life like all our bears and other breeds! :woohoo;

I would just mention that the papers you signed did state that you keep your Akita on lead in a public place. Please just remember they can be very prey orintated and if something catches his eye he could be gone in a matter of seconds.
You could you use a lunge line this will give him freedom to wander etc but you will be in control.

Inka had a long line leader and so did Nushka in case they ever wanted to chase something! Although Inka and Nushka were both very good and would just trot after you they still could of just took off if they wanted to, they loved a good run with a ball...and for Nushka and bottle!
