Belle is looking for her forever home due to a relationship break up. Her owner has moved to accommodation which does not allow dogs.

Belle is VERY playful high energy and a happy healthy girl. She would be suited to an active family with children aged over 10. Belle will not be re homed with other dogs or cats.

Belle is inoculated, micro chipped and neutered. Belle will be sorely missed.

Mackiko is a stray taken to a council dog pound. They have a seven day policy before they put to sleep. This is based on sheer number of strays coming in. If anyone is interested they may extend this until we have done a home check. ARW do not have the funds to take in every stray we are offered. If we do find him a home, he will be neutered, micro chipped and inoculated.

Machiko is said to be dog friendly and loves people. He is very under weight but is generally in good health. Not tested with cats and due to being a poundie, he will not be re homed to families with young children.

Zak lives with children and is not known to be aggressive to other dogs. Zak can not live with cats. Zaks owners now both work full time and do not have time Zak deserves. Zak is currently in the house for long hours.

XENA is feeling much better

Xena was picked up as a stray, and was coaxed out from under a car after two days. Unfortunatly she became ill and sent to the vets. It was found that she had eaten things she should'nt have. After being x-rayed the vet thought she had staples and a plastic bag in her stomach. She kept being sick and they wanted to operate, but the pound will not pay for her operation and she was due to be pts 17/12/11

However, ARW have agreed to take her in to kennels/foster if she has her medical bill payed. The lovely people on Doglost have started a Xena fund, to help towards the cost of her op. Woodstreet Vets

did the operation at cost and spayed her as well.

Fish4Dogs have kindly sponsored Xena with food and goodies for 6 months.

Xena is now feeling better and is in kennels where the staff adore her. Xena needs a home with older children, no cats and can live with a large dog if introduced correctly. Xena LOVES a CUDDLE.
