Hi Bill
So sorry that Zac seems to have taken a turn for the worse, from what you were saying previously it seemed he was on the mend. Don't give up on him just yet though, he might rally round again. His reluctance to move far sounds very much like my old Airedale, she had a problem with her heart andlungs and no medication could help, but she enjoyed her food , wasn't in any pain and did have a good quality of life for her age. Twice we thought, like you that she had reached the end, only to perk up and surprise us all, including the vet. We did have to go at her pace though and eventually she confined herself to the house and garden, but pottering around quite happily for a couple of years.
It's heartbreaking to watch them slow down though isn't it? I think they accept it better than we do. Really hoping Zac can rally round again and enjoy his life and ease your worry.
Christine

Oh no! oh Bill I'm so so sorry to hear your sad news, you did everything you could for dear Zac and your final act of love for him was to help him leave for the bridge, he's resting now

Run free sweet Zac.

Oh Bill my heart goes out to you. You did everything that you could do for him. Thinking of you at this difficult time. He had the best life ever with you and now it is his time to rest. He will be waiting for you at the bridge with that squeaky toy and a wagging tail. He will be forever in your heart and will be an honorary member in our rainbow bridge section. We hope to share your happy memories and pics of Zac when you are feeling up to it.

Rest in Peace Zak. xXx
