Affectionate Nature: Bella is incredibly loving and thrives on human interaction. She loves cuddles and will lean in for affectionate and a fuss. Her tail never stops wagging!
Training: This smart lady is reward driven, she would benefit from some patient handling and confident training. Someone prepared to put the time and effort into her would really reap the rewards and see her blossom into a well-rounded Akita. It really wouldn’t take much effort!
House Trained: Bella is clean in her kennel, so she’s considered house trained.
Children: Bella could live with children aged 10 and up
Ideal Home: Bella would thrive in a home where she is the only pet, she deserves to be the centre of attention. No cats or small furries.
Secure garden with 6ft robust fencing to keep her safe, she would not be suited to living in a flat.
If your house is rented, we must have landlords’ permission to own a large breed dog on the premises – this is non-negotiable, please ensure you have this to hand if you apply.
Breed or large breed experience is essential along with an understanding of the breed traits as she has high prey drive, which is typical of the breed.
She is very loyal, very affectionate and loves being around people so would greatly benefit from someone at home most of the day and not left on her own for hours.
