Keira is a beautiful, lively girl who was heartbreakingly found abandoned just before Christmas. Despite her rough start, she hasn’t let it dull her spirit, she is full of energy, affection and enthusiasm for life.
Keira is estimated to be around 2–3 years old, she absolutely adores human attention and will happily give all her love back in return. She is very people orientated and just wants to be near you.
Training will be a big part of Keira’s journey. She doesn’t yet know basic commands such as sit or lie down, and she can be quite excitable on walks, so lead training and consistent guidance, rules and setting firm but fair boundaries will be essential. An active home would be best suited to this beautiful girl.
She would fare well in a home where she’s not left alone for long periods.
She will thrive with a patient, understanding owner who is willing to put in the time and effort, and the reward will be a truly loving companion.
Kennel staff have reported no signs of food aggression; her food bowl can be lifted and returned without any issues. She is not reactive to other dogs in the kennels and could potentially live with a neutered, large breed male dog, following careful introductions.
Keira has not been cat tested, so we are looking for a cat-free home to be on the safe side.
Due to her bouncy, energetic nature, she would be best suited to a home with dog-savvy children aged 12+.
Keira is a girl who has so much love to give and just needs someone willing to guide her and show her what it means to be part of a family.
