We are overjoyed to share that 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱! 
Julie, a previous ARW adopter, was heartbroken after losing her beloved Akita Leo following 10 incredible years together. Determined to open her heart to another Akita in Need, she explored several options but time and again, her heart kept coming back to Ares. Honestly, can you blame her? Just look at him! 
A massive thank you to our long term supporters Dave & Lynn, who once again came to the rescue by transporting this precious boy safely to Julie. Your support never goes unnoticed, and we are eternally grateful. 
Ares’ previous owner, though saddened to say goodbye, went above and beyond in a way that moved every member of our team to tears. In the week leading up to his adoption, they carefully put together.

Thanks to this loving preparation, Ares has already settled in beautifully with Julie. He’s enjoying long frosty walks, exploring his huge new garden, and slowly becoming part of the furniture! 
While no new dog can ever replace a beloved companion, they can expand the heart, and we hope Julie’s heart is overflowing with love once again.
