Meet lovely Bruce who is available for adoption through no fault of his own. This handsome boy is very excitable, affectionate and loves playing with his toys. Bruce would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy regular exercise, longer walks, ongoing training, and continued socialisation. Like many young, energetic dogs, he will benefit from clear and consistent boundaries to help manage his excitement and jumping up. Therefore he needs a family who is committed to his ongoing training and providing him with the companionship he desires.
Bruce is happiest when in the company of his humans and his favourite tennis ball. He takes treats gently from the hand and showed no signs of resource guarding. He was also completely happy being handled, including having his paws, ears, mouth, body and tail checked.
Bruce can be strong on the lead, therefore requires owners with large breed experience. He has shown no prey drive towards other dogs or cats, however he would prefer to be the only animal in the home.
