Sometimes, it takes a little teamwork to change a life. We often partner with other rescues to help Akitas in need and that’s how we met Heston.
This gorgeous 2 year old boy came to the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre near Nottingham through no fault of his own.
He was ready to find his forever home, but received little interest, so we shared his story far and wide.
Enter Kate and Nick. Earlier this year, they heartbreakingly said goodbye to their much loved Akita x Husky. Having owned an Akita before, they knew the breed inside out and when they saw Heston’s photo, it was love at first sight.
A home check from ARW sealed the deal, and soon after, Heston trotted into their hearts and home like he’d always belonged.
