Halloween is the start of a busy (and sometimes stressful!) week for our furry friends, with spooky decorations, costumes, and fireworks just around the corner.
Here are some simple ways to help keep your dog calm and happy this season:
๐ Take your walks earlier in the day before the evening excitement begins.
๐Gradually introduce your dog to Halloween displays and decorations.
๐ Keep sweets and chocolates well out of reach.
๐ When greeting trick or treaters, keep your dog on a lead or settle them in another room.
๐ Make sure decorations and candles are safely out of paws reach.
๐ Think twice before bringing your dog trick or treating; whatโs fun for us might be scary (or uncomfortable) for them, especially in costume.
