Do you enjoy design, social media and getting creative, and fancy using those skills to help Akitas?
We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Assistant Volunteer to work alongside our existing Marketing & Communications Trustee and provide some much needed extra support with the many different things that go on behind the scenes at ARW.
This isn’t just about faffing around on Facebook! There are fundraising campaigns to support, website bits and pieces, artwork to prepare, ideas to develop and plenty of other jobs that pop up along the way.
We’re looking for someone who is:
🎨 Creative, with a good eye for design
🔎 Detail focused, because the little things matter
💻 Comfortable with digital and design tools, such as Canva
🐾 Happy to work within our existing brand guidelines
👥 A team player, who enjoys working alongside others
👂Willing to listen and take direction
💡Happy to share ideas, but equally happy to work from an agreed brief
⏰ Reliable, and able to commit to some regular time
❤️ And, of course, someone who genuinely cares about Akitas, their welfare and what we do!
This is a support role, working alongside an existing Trustee. We’re not looking for someone to come in and redesign the world and change everything we’ve already built 😄
We have an established brand, a voice and way of working, so being able to understand what we’re trying to achieve, work within those guidelines and contribute as part of a team is really important.
You don’t need to be a marketing professional, and you certainly don’t need to know everything. We’re looking for someone with useful skills, the right attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in and help out even in other areas if needed
If you’ve got a couple of hours a week or more to spare, that’s fantastic. The role is flexible and remote, regular access to a laptop or PC during the day would be helpful. UK based only.
